If chest discomfort occurs suddenly, persists or worsens, or is accompanied by difficulty breathing, cold sweats, fainting, or altered consciousness, you should immediately contact local emergency services and not drive yourself. Even if the cause of the symptoms is unclear, priority should be given to ensuring monitoring during transport and timely medical care. If symptoms are mild but recurring, professional evaluation is still needed as soon as possible.
