Sudden onset of visual or visual field abnormalities can have many causes, and it is not possible to determine at home whether they are related to cerebrovascular issues. Especially if accompanied by facial drooping, limb weakness, speech abnormalities, severe headache, dizziness, or altered consciousness, you should immediately contact emergency services and note the time last known well.
