Professional answer

Fainting can have many causes, including cardiovascular problems that need prompt evaluation, but this cannot be determined on your own. Keep a record of activities before and after episodes, posture, palpitations, chest pain, duration, and recovery process, and seek medical attention as soon as possible. If fainting occurs during exercise, causes injury, is accompanied by chest pain or difficulty breathing, or recovery is incomplete, seek emergency evaluation.
