If blood pressure readings differ between my two arms, how can I explain this more clearly to my doctor?

Record the order of measurement on the left and right arms, the time, readings, device used, and body position during measurement. When possible, repeat and record measurements under similar conditions. Bring the complete results to your doctor for interpretation. Do not pick the lower reading on your own as the basis for decisions. If you also have acute symptoms such as chest pain, fainting, or abnormal sensations in a limb, seek emergency evaluation promptly.
