You can repeat back in your own words: "Here's what I understand I need to do next. What needs correcting?" Ask the doctor to confirm the daily plan, the timing of the next evaluation, and how to reach them if questions come up. For anything still unclear, request a short written note. Do not fill in medication instructions from memory on your own.
